Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm watching Laga on Crosswords right now, and it's... way better than the rest of my day!

It is COLD OUTSIDE.

OK, more like chilly, but that's just rude after 90+ days.

It is cool here, but more importantly rainy. Second meeting with the career counselor, second time I've been significantly late. Through no fault of my own! But still. I'd fire me, if I were her.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Kitchen ceiling update: I called the landlord first thing this morning, who left a message on my phone telling me the plaster guy was on his way.

This evening: at least someone cleaned up all the bits of ceiling in the kitchen, shame there's still a big unstable hole in the ceiling. Sigh. No message left.

I would be upset if this didn't give me a reason for ordering in again.

I'd fire me, if I were her.

For some reason, I now mentally add "must be all the pot" to the end of all Jesse's posts. Like a fortune cookie.

I swear to god, if the "police investigation at 72nd St" was a pot bust, I would die laughing.

Especially if I were high.

One of my closest friends wrote this movie and it opens this weekend. [link] Go see it! Not just because it's really great, but because she didn't start writing seriously for film until she was in her 40s--thus giving hope to all aspiring Buffistas.

I saw a preview for this, and it looked fantastic! I had planned on seeing it anyway, but now... well, I'll still see it, but I'll feel all supportive about it, too.

Oh, if only!

Oh, my freaking god. Doesn't this woman have handlers?

> Coulter: We want 'Jews to be perfected'

The woman makes her living by spouting "funny" (but non-ironic) hate. She called Edwards a "fag", suggested she would support bombing the NY Times, recently supported repealing votes for women. There is apparently nothing she can say that will get her disinvited from talk shows.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

We have to fight him over there, so he doesn't follow us home!

I'm IN BUCKHEAD. How do you think I feel?

>What is he doing with that briefcase?!

Maybe he wants his "Modern Models" to be the new "Deal or No Deal" briefcase boys?
