If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I don't know what I want for lunch yet. Maybe I'll go downstairs and wander.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had the cuban sandwich. It was delish, although I kind of wish I had gotten my usual ropa vieja.

My lunch today has been 1 hard-boiled egg, my daughter's leftover sandwich from yesterday which was one piece of Pepperidge Farm German Dark Wheat bread and 4 slices of salami, and a plain baked potato.

I have had more interesting lunches in my life, I tell you what. But, you know, stuff was in the fridge.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The perception that stray cats can survive just fine on their own, whereas stray dogs will Wreak Havoc, is also part of it, I think.

I think there's some merit to that thinking. The circumstances under which I would be fearful of my safety due to a stray housecat would either involve Byzantine worst-case scenarios or a shrinking ray. Poorly socialized stray chow or rotweiller, not so much.

I know this is Natter, not Bitches, but I have to post this dress here--isn't it pretty?! But I really don't have anywhere to wear it right now. I might have to pick it up for the holidays, though.
