The perception that stray cats can survive just fine on their own, whereas stray dogs will Wreak Havoc, is also part of it, I think.
I think there's some merit to that thinking. The circumstances under which I would be fearful of my safety due to a stray housecat would either involve Byzantine worst-case scenarios or a shrinking ray. Poorly socialized stray chow or rotweiller, not so much.
I know this is Natter, not Bitches, but I have to post this dress here--isn't it pretty?! But I really don't have anywhere to wear it right now. I might have to pick it up for the holidays, though.
