I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

there is a street fair outside my offices today, so I am going to go get crepes and a funnel cake for lunch.

I am on day 3 of feeling like crap and I am betting dollars to donuts that it is all hormone induced mild depression/anxiety with a side case of low-grade fever for which I have no real recourse. caffeine and sugary starches probably aren't helping - I'll look into that next month.

See, navigational confusion day is a day I can get behind, because it pretty much describes my life.

I really hate mondays.

Preach it.

I haven't gone to work today because I was in bed with a stomach virus all weekend and am only just starting to feel human again. So today feels so far from a Monday for me. Maybe a Saturday.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Murphy's is Da Bomb, and Teppy should definitely use it on the floor.

Excellent. t Mr. Burns

low-grade fever for which I have no real recourse

msbelle, can't you at least take Tylenol or ibuprofen for your fever?

What does Murphy's Oil Soap do?

I think the oil of the title refers to the fact that the soap could be used to clean wood finished with penetrating oils (as opposed to wax, which you can't use Murphy's on).

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

BTW, the Ecover version of MOS is almost as wonderful, and slightly cheaper at Whole Foods than MOS.

Tep, you can Google for the various techniques to minimize some of the discoloration, too. I know I used some of them when we uncovered our floors. But that was a long time ago.

Dude! Are none of you celebrating the lack of navigational skills day?

Kindercare is. Kindercare is closed for professional development. As a result, I'm in my bedroom, remoting in to work, and Lillian is, err. In the living room, watching Classic Sesame Street, because I'm a horrible parent when I actually have work they pay me for that needs to be done.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

there is a street fair outside my offices today, so I am going to go get crepes and a funnel cake for lunch.

A coworker just headed off to get a crepe, too! I was thinking about some fried situation after work, but we'll see.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Okay. HELP needed desperately.

When I lived in Belgium (spring of 1993, I believe), there was a great op-ed piece in the International Herald Tribune written by Sandra Cisneros regarding the war in Sarajevo (where she had lived). It mentioned her friend Jasna.

I cannot find my copy of this and I desperately need it.

Anyone able to hook a sister up?
