Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was gonna say, dental dam.

Just watching this week's GA.... I still love MamaBurke. I mean, losing Burke fucks the show up for me because the Cristina/Burke relationship were a really really really big part of the show. I'm not thrilled with the relationship that everyone else is displeased with, but the tension of Bailey not being charge is great. And the scene with Bailery and Karev was perfect. I love Bailey.

Which is my way of saying, there is still lots of GA for me to love.

Thanks for the birthday happies, you all. Makes a lovely day even lovlier.

On PD, I was wondering whether gloves would make a difference. Like, if he wore really long ones, could he pet his dog without the hand/stick thing? Though, that was pretty cute. Or hold hands with Chuck, etc. I won't go into the etc., but, you know... I wonder whether these things will come up. I think they probably will, for ill or good.

And on FNL (which I just watched): I see that the dead body is the giant plot worry and absolutely agree that they didn't need to do this to make the Landry/Tara dynamic interesting. It already was! To sum up: liked the opener and am keeping hopes high. Could Matt be more adorable? No, I do not think that is possible.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Okay, Squirrel Hill? Now this sounds like a fantasy story. Were there elves involved here? Either short cartoon ones, or tall sexy ones that bewitched you with their cookies, and sprinkled you with forgetfulness faery dust so you'd never find their lair again?

Sadly, no tall, sexy elves in Pittsburgh. But it would make a nice story.

Kat, although those look tasty, they were lighter colored on the outside. Strange that I didn't remember what they are called. I think because I just called them "crack." I blame the cookies.

I have printed up a dozen house fliers. We talk to the relocation team tomorrow so we can arrange a house hunting trip. This whole thing is starting to sink in.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

oh yes, Bailey alone could keep me watching for a while. I think there needs to be a male intern or EMT or something step up and bring new life in. And mcsteamy needs something interesting - there's nothing there currently.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

On PD

Even if he wears a condom, she better wear stockings or a rubber suit or something. Cause skin can't touch skin at all. And they either wear masks or exercise tremendous self control. Cause it would be really hard to have sex without kissing the other persons face at some point.

GA: I don't understand how they are going to get rid of so many interns hanging around all the time, but they've really got to.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Swooping in to wish Jen a happy birthday and anyone else I've missed since Wednesday, and to report that my sister is now happily married! The wedding was great, even though I returned from Las Vegas to find out it was 15 degrees warmer here in Chicago than out there--we had to wear our jackets/sweatshirts during the Saturday day-after-wedding picnic, since there was a wind chill (72 degrees with a 40-mph wind blowing meant it was damn cold under the pavillion at the park).

At the reception, when they had the first dance by the newly married couple, they were coming out onto the dance floor and the maid of honor leaned over to me and said, "Watch, they'll dance to something like 'Jumpin' Jack Flash'," and I disagreed, thinking they'd do something more traditional. Boy, was I wrong. They kicked off their shoes, and then the music started. Well, not music, but the emcee introducing Travolta and Thurman for the twist contest in Pulp Fiction! Then, sis and BIL replicated the dance (BIL told me he'd been practicing for months). So fun! And then, for the groom-and-his-mother dance, they played "Guantanamara" (my Cuban BIL's mom's favorite song). Sis's new MIL has great rhythm!

Cash, I don't know whether I've said anywhere, but congrats to DH on the new job, and I'm sending all kinds of smooth, peaceful resettling vibes your way.
