Spike: Ladies. Come on in. Plenty of blood in the fridge, don't be shy. Dawn: You mean like, real blood? Spike: What do you think? Dawn: Mostly I think, 'Eew!'

'Potential'

Natter 54: Right here, dammit.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I'm teaching my friends' babies to speak fake French!

Apparently I spontaneously started speaking fake French as a four-year-old because I was tired of being left out of (French) conversations.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wake up this morning to see I was drugged out posting here in a couple threads as well as LJ. I do remember the status report text messages I sent out. But not two minutes ago I settle down to email my GP to tell him about the successful ER visit and right there in my inbox is a reply from him about same.

Oops. I may need to enact a no-internet protocol for about 8 hours after dilaudid. So far I haven't done anything bad, but who knows?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

One viewer donated $35,000 for the right to program an entire hour and requested continuous play of Nena's "99 Luftballons" and "99 Red Balloons" videos for an entire hour. The station broadcasted the videos as requested from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST on March 26, 2006

Clearly Zach Braff has too much money.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Clearly Zach Braff has too much money.

Or a VCR phobia.

I don't know - I liked a contented and calm ita better than most drunk dialing.

In sucky news, Phil Frank who did the local Farley comic strip in the San Francisco Chronicle died of a brain tumor. (He also drew Elderberries.)

He had been a nationally syndicated cartoonist and then decided to just do a strip locally some thirty years ago, and it was such a part of the local experience. Just like that, we lose that big cast of characters. Feels weird and sad.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I am this close to declaring a dictatorship at work. No more revisions! No more opinions! No more vast overhauls of the document's structure!

It's a thing.

Most of the krav people don't like me calm. It worries them. Hot and sour is the temperament they prefer.

Okay, I'm actually going to work. This is very exciting.

If only I could pick something to wear--that's the problem with over-discussing one's wardrobe--everything's at the front of my mind.

Punishingly Intricate

Speaking some more of fashion. WHAT am I going to wear to the 2 weddings in 2 days I have first weekend in October??? My dream is something like this:

I would totally get that one but they only have a medium and I think that is a thing I'm not.
