Well, it's bigger than a bruise. It's a big bulgy knot on her right temple, poor muffin.

Natter 54: Right here, dammit.

aww thanks, Vortex!
I did FINALLY get some arnica after it being recommended to me for years to put on my impressive bruises. We'll see if it makes a bit of difference.
Bad mama, no biscuit.
Feh. Nothing gets me snarling quite like unsolocited parenting advice, and I think you deserve EXTRA biscuits for putting up with it.
it's bigger than a bruise
Don't worry--you're new at this. I mean, I'm not even sure what "bigger than a bruise" even means. But any injury to your baby takes on monumental proportions.
She will be okay.
She will be okay.
I'm sure of that, she didn't even cry that long. It just looks awful since she whanged her forehead right at the top and it's all abulgent and purple.
Oh well. At least it's in the standard head bonk zone for just learning to walk toddlers so it should not ping anybody's CPS instincts.
Desperate Housewives: I didn't watch it but I'm reading the recap. Yes, I am nuts: Is NF really cast as a obgyn ? Is that how he's going to be typecast now?
I'm reminded of when D gave himself a black eye (but didn't remember running into the shelf, so kept insisting it was ink) and his mom tried to wipe it off. He was ok the first couple swipes and then he was all OWOWOWOWSTOPOw!
And then I took pictures and put them on the internet.
Poor purple Matilda!
I was watching Season Seven of Buffy yesterday (it is much better than I remembered) and realized that the "urban" slayer is played by the same actress that plays Helia's daughter on Weeds. The funny thing is, since her name is Indigo, when I saw her name in the credits I assumed she was a singer turned actress because of her one word name. Thing is, I had this same assumption for Buffy AND Weeds, but I still didn't connect the actresses.
Oh. Dear. Gods. I think the Spanish should actually be "Hello and Goodbye, Mr. Brain Cell". Or perhaps "vile concoction".
Actually? It's pretty smooth, not arguing about the brain cell part though.
Aww, poor Matilda and JZ.
Cakeyvoice, the same maniac who brought you yarn recreations of Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead and, of course, Shaun of the Dead, has now created lovely cards featuring the characters from Dawn and Shaun, just in time to send out Halloween greetings. Awesome.
And make sure you go check out her Flickr pool: looks like she's been tackling Hellboy and additional Dawn of the Dead bits as well.
