Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

'Sleeper'

We have no hot water down here. Nor a microwave. And our refrigerator is currently in a box, disguised from building management while they sweep the entire skyscraper for rogue electronics.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cool bear rescue.

Our last apartment manager quit before they hired a new one. I'm not sure what to do with my October rent check.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

What's the preferred citation style?

The real answer is "whatever the publisher asks for". But without any specific instructions, Chicago is probably a safe bet -- it's not tied to any specific academic discipline, and it tends to be more human-readable for lay audiences than some of the others.

Trust my rage

Here in PR, oatmeal is everywhere - you can even get it at McDonalds. It's usually a bit sweeter than I like but it's very convenient - especially when your two-year-old loves it.
