I look more rad than Lutheranism

Is Cincinnati chili controversial?

Not if you leave out the nasty cilantro...

Yeah, I like the stuff, but I'm not sure there is cilantro in Cinicnnati much less Cincinnati chili.

There *is* cilantro in Cincinnati -- and it all belongs to my mother, who will sneak it into damn near everything she cooks. Now, I don't mind cilantro -- it doesn't taste like soap to me -- but I hate being confronted with greenery practically growing out of my scrambled eggs first thing in the morning.

It's disconcerting.

I like driving through the spot in my aisle into the one in the next aisle that lets me face forward.

I do this too, but I have been informed (by my mother) that this is the height of rudeness. I am not sure she speaks for all america!

The only way I can see it being rude is if there's someone in the next aisle, trying to pull into the spot on their side that you're bogarting.

I back in when parking, whenever possible. I just like being able to drive right out when I leave.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, uh, anyone want to take care of my job for me today? Because I apparently don't. Want to, that is.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

You and me both, Jesse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hmph. Also, it's freezing in my office.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The ElmoSapien project shows you how to eviscerate an Elmo handpuppet and stretch its skin taut over a RoboSapien robot, load an Elmo "personality" into the robot, and terrorize the neighborhood children.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

And me!

Also, for those of you working in academics-- I HATE Blackboard (course software for on-line access to courses) ! Hate, hate, hate it! I also especially hate all the teachers who a) send me everything in word to update the class, when there are only one or two changes, but I don't know what they are and b) ask ME what should go up on Blackboard. Um, you are the teacher, not me. I'll put up whatever, but frankly, everything is easier if you just put it up yourself, typing directly into Blackboard because the stinking cut and paste from word wonks up every bit of the formatting and makes me look dumb, unless I PRINT OUT THE DOCUMENTS AND TYPE THEM IN. But the professor has already typed them once.

Um.... I guess I really hate Blackboard

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Also, it's freezing in my office.

It's less hot in my office than it was, though still not quite comfortable.

But guess what? I get a Jesse this week! (Thursday, right?)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, yeah!! This is actually part of my problem -- I only have two days in the office, so it barely seems worthwhile even trying to get anything done, but yet? That is the opposite of the truth.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

When I woke up this morning, I was convinced it was Sunday.

That was nice.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

the stinking cut and paste from word wonks up every bit of the formatting and makes me look dumb, unless I PRINT OUT THE DOCUMENTS AND TYPE THEM IN.

Try cutting and pasting into Notepad and then from Notepad to Blackboard. Won't make Blackboard suck less, but it should strip the formatting out as much as possible.
