Gabriel: Are you trying to destroy this family? Simon: I didn't realize it would be so easy.

'Safe'

Natter 54: Right here, dammit.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Also, it's freezing in my office.

It's less hot in my office than it was, though still not quite comfortable.

But guess what? I get a Jesse this week! (Thursday, right?)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, yeah!! This is actually part of my problem -- I only have two days in the office, so it barely seems worthwhile even trying to get anything done, but yet? That is the opposite of the truth.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

When I woke up this morning, I was convinced it was Sunday.

That was nice.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

the stinking cut and paste from word wonks up every bit of the formatting and makes me look dumb, unless I PRINT OUT THE DOCUMENTS AND TYPE THEM IN.

Try cutting and pasting into Notepad and then from Notepad to Blackboard. Won't make Blackboard suck less, but it should strip the formatting out as much as possible.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Good idea! I will try it, thanks!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Try cutting and pasting into Notepad and then from Notepad to Blackboard. Won't make Blackboard suck less, but it should strip the formatting out as much as possible.

That's a trick I use fairly often. I wish there was a "cut as plain text" or "paste as plain text" option.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

For the love of God, why isn't paste as plain text the default? It annoys the fuck out of me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

In Word there is, through Paste Special. Also, before copying from Word, you can choose Clear Formatting from the Style window.

In Word 2003, there's a "Keep Text Only" dropdown from the clipboard icon.
