We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There needs to be a law about how loud your engine can get in a 30 or 35mph area. Because there's way too much noise around here right now.

I wish I could go to the ER tonight, but I do at least know tonight is not the night. Way too soon, and they'd never get a line in.

Still, lying down is really boring and sitting up is really painful. Hence the alternation.

Chuck failed for me. The new series that I've seen and liked are Life and Journeyman. The Bionic Woman gets a few more shots out of curiosity. Chuck--well, I'm curious about what everyone else saw in it, because the characters (other than Adam Baldwin, who is majorly cool) are so meh. Or gnattishly irritating.

I evidently forgot most of last season's final CSI ep, because the recap was news to me--but I know I did definitely see the end of it.

I tried to record ER and it stayed on ABC instead--I have DSM, don't I?

You're welcome to the next time they admit me and the most exciting thing that happens is they wake me to take my blood pressure every two hours. And won't stop, even if the doctor asks them to.

Right now my main problem is that my neck and shoulder hurt when I lie down, even though my head feels better. Sitting up flips that. I can't commit.

Does Mac understand you were a kid? Does he wonder why you don't have those rules?

I'm trying to think if I ever grasped my parents as children. I don't think so.

And the question about them coming into kid space and cramping us? We had very little kid space, and just about none where they'd want to be for any length of time. I think we overlapped on the porch--until we moved to the UK, that was it. Even there, it'd be TV we overlapped for, and that had its own special fights.

Swooped by the ER web site and all the comments are "Dudes! Where's the full episode online? All the other networks do it!"

Yeah. They kinda do. And having missed the first ep makes me a lot more meh about catching the next ones, even with the two minute summary. I think it's out-dated licensing preventing it, but it's no good.

If that's 10pm on Thursday, then you got Big Shots, which I turned off after 15 minutes.

I think I've identified another reason I don't see "celebrities" around -- I don't know why they are!

I am fairly sure that "why" should be "who", but I LOVE IT SO MUCH with "why." It makes me imagine that Jesse has a superpower where people without a good reason to exist are actually invisible to her, which would be pretty awesome. And quite a time-saver.

And then I think, if Jesse doesn't acknowledge this post, does that mean I'm invisible to her? Maybe I wouldn't find her superpower so awesome then. So stay tuned for my existential crisis.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ha! I see all these people, and I have no idea why they're famous! Or why they are at all.

....yeah, I meant "who."

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I also forgot about the first episode of ER. And my new Tivo had been delivered that morning, just as I was leaving for school, so it wasn't hooked up yet.

Art Crawl!!!

I taped er but I've realized that I have no interest in watching it.

And I did watch Big Shots and hope to never do that again.

yeah, that's how the convo started. He was acting upset about not living with me forever and I said "I don't live with Grandma and Grandad anymore and that is ok, right?"

And the question about them coming into kid space and cramping us?...

is puzzeled as I stare at the lego castle in my livingroom floor and the bike in the dining room. HE comes where ever I am, except for my weekend sleeping in and to the bathroom when I shower - that is where the disconnect is for him needing this adjustment time to my presence.
