Wow. Answering the door hurt my head so much that I don't want to eat the pizza anymore. And I don't have a narcotic in the house I haven't built up a resistance to, so I got nothing in the way of options.

Natter 54: Right here, dammit.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
CSI: and how did what's her name get the car flipped over anyway? At least Sara had the water on her side. Or whatever. Also, would it really be that dusty the day after a big rain storm?
I am currently watching Dirty Sexy Money and LOVING IT.
CSI: Between not knowing what actually happened to Sara and what Grissom was imagining from the evidence, and just get distracted and not paying close attention, I'm really unclear on how any part of the attempted murder or the survival (?) happened. They are dragging out the will-she-pull-though-or-not question, right?
No, the preview was conclusive.
Now I'm watching Shark, which I really got to like last season, and I'm glad to see Kevin Alejandro working!
Oh, and in other news, I think I've identified another reason I don't see "celebrities" around -- I don't know why they are! While I was in the dressing room at Banana, some other people were all excited about someone from the Sopranos in the store. I think I saw who they were talking about, but she rang no bells at all for me.
My lazy chicken: take the chicken pieces season and add spice and possibly butter or olive oil, slice an onion into quarters, add a potato and roast until done.
Well, upset tummies do well with broth. And of course. tea. I think that the saltine acts mainly to soak up acid in the stomach so bread would do the same thing.
I love Dirty Sexy Money too. And for some reason I was sure that csi/WAT were doing some sort of X-over this week so I made certain to watch csi live rather than wait for it On Demand.
No, the preview was conclusive.
So I was paying even less attention than I thought. No surprises there, really. Watching things live is hard.
It just had Sara in a sling talking to Grissom. Oh -- and there's some investigation (?) about their relationship (?)
I'm also giving Chuck a thumbs-up. I think I'm going to enjoy imagining my grandfather working for Adam Baldwin's NSA in the same way I'm going to enjoy imagining my New York-based philanthropy-related job has anything to do with Peter Krause.
There needs to be a law about how loud your engine can get in a 30 or 35mph area. Because there's way too much noise around here right now.
I wish I could go to the ER tonight, but I do at least know tonight is not the night. Way too soon, and they'd never get a line in.
Still, lying down is really boring and sitting up is really painful. Hence the alternation.
Chuck failed for me. The new series that I've seen and liked are Life and Journeyman. The Bionic Woman gets a few more shots out of curiosity. Chuck--well, I'm curious about what everyone else saw in it, because the characters (other than Adam Baldwin, who is majorly cool) are so meh. Or gnattishly irritating.
I evidently forgot most of last season's final CSI ep, because the recap was news to me--but I know I did definitely see the end of it.
I tried to record ER and it stayed on ABC instead--I have DSM, don't I?
boring and in less pain is ok in my book.
mac's words of wisdom tonight: when I live by myself, I get to make the rules?
me: yes.
mac: watch tv ALL THE TIME and NO VEGETABLES!
