Also, H&M is notorious for requiring a size up, which is why I mostly buy skirts there.

I've fit in everything from a 10 to a 16 there. wackyo. So if I see something I like the look of there I try it in a number of sizes.

Yay for the cafeteria--usually, their Friday selection pretty much blows (either buffalo wings bar, or fried food bar, or maybe southern cooking bar), but today, they had their Indian food selection! I got my usual chicken tikki masala with some naan, and had them give me a side of mixed veggies to boost up the vitamin intake.

I have this idea that you're smaller than me but maybe it's just that I know you're younger and, actually, I have no idea what size you are!

I think maybe it was just the H&M store I was at, but the sizes were all ridiculously small. I am a little overweight, so going in and finding everything in sizes 0-4 does not really boost the ol' self-confidence.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

H&M say they go by European sizing, which is a full size up from US sizing. It's pretty consistent for me.

Also, all three of our H&Ms are within 5 blocks of each other. I go to the huyuge one to see what styles I like, and then go to one of the other two to actually find my size, since the big one tends to only have the wee tiny sizes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The labels have multiple sizes on them, including US.

I am a little overweight, so going in and finding everything in sizes 0-4 does not really boost the ol' self-confidence.

Oh, yuck. I was just having a conversation about how, when I lived in Manhattan, I like to go to the big chain stores (Old Navy for sure, I forget what else) in Harlem, because they always had an awesome selection in my size, which was not necessarily the case in other parts of town.

Well, that explains it, then! Hmph.

Not at all! They really vary on what's in stock from store to store and, like, minute to minute.
