The turnover is so fast there that you have to keep checking it! And there may be radically different stock in NY than there is in Bmore. We didn't see the dress until we'd been all over the store and were on our way out the door!

Everytime I go into H&M I think, "there must be something I'll love here." and then I don't. I wonder how much is me and how much is H&M.

Kat, I have the same experience in H&M. I never find anything, though I see stuff that others have bought there that I really like.

Ha! Yeah, that's why the little beauty will never be mine. I could never spend that kind of money on a jacket. But I can still covet.

H & M is always a mixed bag. Sometimes it's all EVERYTHING DAY-GLO VINYL! but I've found some great pieces there. Like good little jackets (blazers I guess?) and trousers and skirts. But it's super hit & miss and there is no expectation that things will be sized at all consistently.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
I swear I need unembellished tops and bottoms to wear with my already-owned embellished bottoms and tops. No print, solid colours, no detailing.
