GC, that's some jacket! wow.

H & M is always a mixed bag. Sometimes it's all EVERYTHING DAY-GLO VINYL! but I've found some great pieces there. Like good little jackets (blazers I guess?) and trousers and skirts. But it's super hit & miss and there is no expectation that things will be sized at all consistently.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I swear I need unembellished tops and bottoms to wear with my already-owned embellished bottoms and tops. No print, solid colours, no detailing.

My no-shopping rule is sorely tested by these links.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Packing people are incredible at how fast they work. ChiKat and I were just marveling over how the moving guys can pick up three boxes full of books, balance them on their backs, and carry them down a few flights of stairs.

ION, I was listening to my usual morning radio show on the way into work this morning, and the hosts asked for American history buffs to call in. So, it was me and three guys who were on the phone for some questions from the revised citizenship test. I got the first two right (and was the only one with the answers), and the hosts were asking "Do you have the test in front of you?" I swore I was in my car in the office parking lot, nowhere near a newspaper or the internet. I backed off the next few questions and let the guys answer them (they were easier, anyway--how many people in the House of Representatives, who was president during WWI), and then chimed in for the last few.

They said that there weren't going to be any prizes, but changed their minds, so we all got LobsterGrams and pizza packages (I won a LobsterGram coupon from them last year for their 9/11 quiz and never cashed it in--I'll have to see if it's still good).

OK, am now on the computer, stealing a neighbor's wifi--cause mine has been ALL PACKED UP! ACK!

Still waiting for the truck to arrive. The mover guys have been done for an hour, they're pissed at the truck guy.

I'm glad Tom still has a job--sudden all employee meetings are a bit scary!

Instead you are all here in my box, and it's very entertaining.

Is suprised by the non-appearence of SPP.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Go you with the move, meara!

My shirts came! Yay! With ten minutes to go. They got here, they fit, and they're super cute. The keyhole is just right, a little peekaboo without going whoa! And the way the collar wraps at the neckline is awesome for me. They advertised it as a turtleneck replacement and it totally is. I am ticklish, so it's perfect for me.

Cool - see, all that history was actually useful.
