Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

(Just had one of those moments, typing that above sentence, where I was like, "Oh my god, I have a son! Hey wait, I also have a four year old and I'm married and I'm 35. How the hell did all this happen?")

Heh.

I have prescription sunglasses, but I think they're too dark, which is why I never wear them -- they're great in full sun, but in real life, I'm always in and out of shade and etc., and it's too much of a pain in the ass to swap glasses all the time.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have a prescription face mask for scuba diving. Old prescription, now, but good enough to be able to see underwater. The mask itself isn't ground, there are lenses, like, superglued to the inside. Got it done through a dive shop.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

My Rx is three years old but I'm dithering over whether to get Lasik, since it seems like a good idea to do it before the wedding (I don't wear contacts).

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My dad, sister, and I all have that reaction to bright sun, too!

Yep, me too. I also have a prescription mask for snorkeling.

Yay, a headacheless morning & so far! Yay six months old!

I sometimes do that sneezing thing.

I can get by without sunglasses here most of the time. However, down in the southwest? Nu-uh.

I just caught a snake.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I tend to sneeze at the first sip of dark beer. The darker, the more likely the sneeze. But I only sneeze the one time.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I would like to be working from home today. Not "working" from home, actual working. Just, not here.

I don't think I can add it to the "Significant Accomplishments" portion of my annual review.

It was cute. Not much longer or thicker than a pencil, gray with brownish splots. It even opened its mouth and was all wee and fierce once.

Not one of the guys wanted to touch it. I picked it up, showed it off, and then carried it outside to roam freely in the ravine.
