Ah yes, good old Autosomal dominant Compelling Helio-Ophthalmic Outburst syndrome. All the women in my family have it -- it's hilarious when we all walk out of a restaurant together, take three steps, pause, sneeze, and keep going. It's always perfectly synchronized.
Natter 54: Right here, dammit.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Oh, gods. Y'all really should film that. Please?
The only times I've "lost" my glasses are the times when I carelessly toss them someplace while changing, and then when I go to put them on again, realize I'm too blind to see where the glasses landed.
You'd think I'd learn.
I had a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers rebuilt with sunglass lens in my prescription. They live in my car, since my regular glasses won't darken in the car due to the winshield (I have Transitions lenses).
My dad, sister, and I all have that reaction to bright sun, too! It's particularly strong when coming out of a dark movie theater.
I lose my glasses like Kathy, when half asleep. Once I couldn't find them for a whole day, though. I remember reading the board here with my eyes about one inch from the screen.
My son tends to do it (the sneezing thing). He's reddish-blonde.
(Just had one of those moments, typing that above sentence, where I was like, "Oh my god, I have a son! Hey wait, I also have a four year old and I'm married and I'm 35. How the hell did all this happen?")
bon bon, that's where I got mine! They were Rx originally until after I got lasik. Then I put the original lenses back in.
DH has Rx Ray Ban Wayfarers and loves them.
I can never figure out people who lose their glasses, because how can you not know where you put them?
Right??? This is totally me. If I can't find my glasses, I really won't be able to find much of *anything.*
I knew a guy who was going on vacation and had his scuba mask ground to his prescription. Probably not at Lenscrafters, though.
