Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Those are the cutest vegetables I've ever seen.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Those remind me of Jamie King's character on "The Class," who was a vegetable photographer. She made her living doing vegetable calendars. Or maybe it was fruit. Something like that.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Dude, if I'm a teacher, you guys are getting shafted. My sister (university lecturer too) got her discount with two different cashiers, as did I.

Clearly I'm not as HAWT as you are. Once some guy took pity on me when I was shopping with Kat and Kat got to use her discount, but that was just the once.

I have no idea why people who teach at universities don't count as teachers. That makes no sense to me.

Maybe we are less likely to be buying class supplies? Dunno.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Happy Autumnal Equinox! (or Vernal Equinox for those in the Southern Hemisphere.)

It occurred at 2:51 am board time....

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm going to cling to the illusion that it's summer for just a wee bit longer. Even though I can see trees starting to change color when I drive out to Woburn.

Skipping to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Emmett's birthday.

Happy birthday, Emmett! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Emmett!

Tonight we go see Genesis at the MCI center. Other than that, quiet day here.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ah! Nilly!

Also, Alibelle, I just gave a stack of romancey type books away. Or a few. I may have more (I think I do). If you wanted to come over and meet Noah and get books, I could do that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, Emmett! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

We had the party yesterday and he had a very good time. He had three friends sleep over so he woke up on his birthday with his friends and is undoubtedly chowing down on pancakes and leftover cake to celebrate.

He's eleven! He's in middle school. Remember when I started him in first grade?
