A year and a half ago, I could have eviscerated him with my thoughts. Now I can barely hurt his feelings. Things used to be so much simpler.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It really is kind of better when the wackos get so far over the top, all you can do is laugh.

Our wings are not tired

I had 4 G&Ts last night, and I feel like a zombie.

Did anyone else jump right to wondering why he would order yet another drink? Mmmmm...zombie.

Ah, the beverage that proves you are what you drink.

I had no alcohol last night, but filled up to my eye teeth on half price all-you-can-eat steak. And woke up before my alarm this morning bristling with energy.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I just had a meeting which we all got to look at a detailed chart which showed how many phone calls I was going to make that I didn't--in a colored chart. Bleagh. The only comfort is that none of the three of us who were making all these calls met our mark. Still, feh.

I'm with you in solidarity, Robin -- I just emailed two people I was supposed to call on Monday, if not sooner. I finally decided if I was never going to call them, I should still make some kind of contact! Ugh.

I hate to jinx it, but I might have a childcare solution in the future. Noah and I have an appointment at 1:30. So love it ma requested.

I'm also watching FNL on DVD, which I got from Amazon for cheap. Loved the pilot, so far.

I have, literally, a million things to get done.

Burrell, sorry about the sick. That totally sucks.

Also, also, did I mention that Polgara gave me Avenue Q tickets for my birthday. We went and it was brilliant enough that I think I might go again before it goes away.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

A British Broadcasting Corp. investigation has uncovered four new instances of audience deception, including one in which a children's TV show faked the results of an online poll to name its cat, the BBC said Thursday.

Scandal!

Also, Robin, thanks for the Noah watching! It allowed us lots of lovely Awake with Grace time.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

We had a new student start today, and it turns out that his name is... His parents must be very strange.

That doesn't surprise me--that name still garners tremendous amounts of respect and admiration. [Name] is a friend of mine from college. He was the III (grandson of the original). I believe his father was an only and neither his nor his brother's kids would be old enough, so I think you can rule out descendant and just go with wacky fan.
