Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

I hate to jinx it, but I might have a childcare solution in the future. Noah and I have an appointment at 1:30. So love it ma requested.

I'm also watching FNL on DVD, which I got from Amazon for cheap. Loved the pilot, so far.

I have, literally, a million things to get done.

Burrell, sorry about the sick. That totally sucks.

Also, also, did I mention that Polgara gave me Avenue Q tickets for my birthday. We went and it was brilliant enough that I think I might go again before it goes away.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

A British Broadcasting Corp. investigation has uncovered four new instances of audience deception, including one in which a children's TV show faked the results of an online poll to name its cat, the BBC said Thursday.

Scandal!

Also, Robin, thanks for the Noah watching! It allowed us lots of lovely Awake with Grace time.

I'm just so glad to be heading back to LA in the morning.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

We had a new student start today, and it turns out that his name is... His parents must be very strange.

That doesn't surprise me--that name still garners tremendous amounts of respect and admiration. [Name] is a friend of mine from college. He was the III (grandson of the original). I believe his father was an only and neither his nor his brother's kids would be old enough, so I think you can rule out descendant and just go with wacky fan.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am so very grumpy today. I have the flu. I spent most of last night doubled over wishing I was vomiting. And now? I'm watching the kids. Turns out moms don't get sick days.

When we went to visit my sister a few months ago, she got the flu and I was really happy I was there to be able to "mom" her a little. I could send her to bed and deal with the kids and nag her to drink fluids and stuff. I know that moms don't get to do that.

Thirding the nap idea. I almost didn't leave therapy because her couch was so comfy. I asked if next week I could just show up and nap for 50 minutes, probably be more productive than therapy (I didn't say that last part).

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Am I the only one who thinks Prince Harry is the hot one? I know the nazi costume thing makes him a total douchenozzle, but I seem to have a genetic preference for Irish looking dudes. Any takers? Buffistas, help a girl out.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was JUST thinking that, Nora.

It looks like there's a movie shooting on Dearborn north of the Loop, according to the signs with arrows pointing to the set. Unfortunately I spent most of my lunch break noodling around at Graham Cracker Comics, and didn't have time to investigate the matter further.
