I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

When's your deadline?

I told my editor I'd turn it in today. Almost there.

Also, I thought that your perfect excuse was "I have a Matilda".

Indeed my up-all-hours status is entirely validated by Matilda. Though it must be noted that she's slept through the night so far.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday erika!

People around town are suddenly noticing a preponderance of squirrels with white tails.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. Not too long ago I woke up after a night of heavy drinking -- hungover and covered in blotches of white paint....

I guess now I know what I did that night.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Happy birthday, erika!

Though it must be noted that she's slept through the night so far.

I have a theory that there is a finite amount of baby sleep in the universe. So every night Dylan is up every 2 hours wanting to play, another baby will be sleeping through a solid 8 hours.

I uploaded 2 weeks worth of photos last night, including ones from our trip to Montauk. And then I spent an hour this morning renaming them, because the computer I need to upload video onto is full and I can't delete anything until the guy who filled up the hard drive comes in and tells me what's important. La la la. Oooh, coffee.

Swouncing

I told my editor I'd turn it in today. Almost there.

Oh, good luck!

Jessica, oh, my, but he's adorable. But then, you look great yourself, too.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Happy birthday erika!

I am sitting in a deposition so boring, pointless, and incompetently conducted that I have no option but to seek solace here.

Punishingly Intricate

Hi Nilly!

Happy Birthday, erika!! Here's a little bit of Baltimore data for you prompted by something Jesse said last night about people spelling Drew's name "Dru":

Like Dru Hill!

Dru Hill is actually a neighborhood. Around Druid Hill Park.

I have to find another route to work. They changed the last stretch from two lanes to one lane+bike path. I'm not opposed to bike paths, but they have not re-timed the two really short stoplights and it makes for quite the stupid and annoying traffic backup. Not to mention people blithely ignoring the bike lane to try to get ahead.

Funny thing is, I suspect the bike lane came from the residents on that street lobbying for it as a way to slow down traffic (people did bomb down it at crazy speeds and one house had a large 25 MPH sign in a tree for a bit.) However, now they have a line of traffic idling and honking in front of their homes.

All I want to know is should we start calling Kristin "Spike"?
