Oh-okay. I said it right, then.
They don't want Rusty in the school.
Absolutely. But when he says "I'm protecting my students" don't you say "then expel the kids who are attacking your students" as the first argument? Why go to contradictions between church and class?
I have a suspicion now that they've startled us with the entirely unpredictable revelation that his mother wasn't gonna come for him, he's around for at least half a season. I'm not going to hope for seeing him vanishing in the rearview mirror anytime soon.
I just keep looking at him thinking "he's 18, I graduated by that age, why is she shoving him into a school?" And why into what appears to be an uptight prep school, at that? For God's sake, he was turning tricks just a few weeks ago, of course he's going to have difficulty adapting.
Rusty is 16, I think. Still annoying but I think that's why he is still in need of watching. Plus he's a material witness? I can't remember.
He's definitely a minor. If he's not with her, he's going into the system, and not just because he's the only witness they get. He's listed as a juvenile on the TNT website.
They said he's barely 16, I believe. And he's a "material witness" to the serial killer whose ski mask he was wearing as a hat, IIRC.
For God's sake, he was turning tricks just a few weeks ago, of course he's going to have difficulty adapting.
Hear, hear.
Also on the "expel the THREE bullies who jumped the new kid, not the new kid for defending himself" bandwagon.
I was glad Raydor did at least point out to Rusty that he shouldn't need to fight again soon - I kept thinking of Ender's first fight in
Ender's Game.
You have to end the fight DEFINITIVELY* in order to make sure that it's not only the first, but the last fight.
*Preferably without death, obviously.
I don't know where to announce this, so I'm doing it here. ION plans to premiere Season 5 of "Flashpoint" on Tuesday, October 16.
Excellent - thank you, Ginger.
Bones:
Angela wants to keep Hodgin's hands clean, so she asks him to place a flower message for her? In what world does that makes sense?
Is no one going to say to Bones maybe you should have left Christine safely with Booth?
There are not security cameras in the Jeffersonian that would catch Bones showing up and tampering with evidence?
Is the other FBI agent taking the flower out of the garbage significant? Is he working with Pollant?
Why am I still watching this show?
Is "Perception' one of these? Sometimes I think so, although it's a better show when it's more emotional and less crime-solving...cable drama?
