FW's character isn't reminding me at all of Vincent d'Onofrio on CI, because I love the d'Onofrio-Kathryn Erbe version of L&O:CI. Except for some dreadful writing in the last two seasons, Goren's over-the-top stuff was a tactic for suspects; the FW character seems to be twitching and mumbling off duty.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
the FW character seems to be twitching and mumbling off duty.
And in rewatching "The Fight" last night, I was struck again, by how different the characters seem-- FW was definitely not mumbling, he was eccentric, a bit of a rebel, but had purpose and was most assuredly lucid.
I do love Garcia - having her in both shows makes me happy. Prentiss ... she's not conventionally pretty, but I love looking at her. The little blonde ... I'm willing to give her some time and see if she turns into a Real Agent. It's just jarring to me to see someone so inexperienced thrown in with the others - the others come with experience - even Reid when he was young and inexperienced didn't seem quite so ... meh. And Elle, who started off pretty well but faded, had a stellar career with the FBI in Seattle, if I remember correctly.
The Defenders tonight is annoying me. How did the opposing attorney get that recording of Nick's conversation with the other lawyer and the EMT? And having it, how was it in way admissible? It was a private conversation, and protected by attorney-client privilege. Wasn't it?
and the EMT
Didn't see it, but a third party on the line vitaites privilege. Or so many years of L&O would have me believe.
Didn't see it, but a third party on the line vitaites privilege.
There wasn't anyone else on the line. The conversation was recorded without Nick or Pete's knowledge. The only ones in the room were Nick, Pete, the EMT, and the EMT's lawyer. Who made the recording was never mentioned. And the lawyer who gave the recording to the judge was not the EMT's lawyer, either. It made no sense to me.
Best bomb defusing ever!
Castle FTW! I had NO IDEA how they were gonna get out of that one.
Excellent episode.
Dear Hollywood:
Here's my number. Call me before you do another radiation-themed story.
No love, Me
I was practically yelling at the TV "Yank them all!"
And then he did! Which was awesome!
