I really dislike the turn CM is taking this season - and what's developing into a long-running story about Prentiss and her past irks me. But I hated the whole Hotch/Reaper storyline and it looks like this is going to hit me the same way.
The CM spin-off ... I'm not sure about it. I'll give it a few episodes. I was struck by how much ... rougher, I suppose, the cast and sets appear. The main CM people seem sleeker, more professional, where this bunch runs around in jeans and scuffed-up leather jackets.
I loved the Reaper storyline, and in fact, can tie my disappointment in CM with the end of it.
They're being too mysterious about Prentiss, and knowing it's laying the ground for...what it's laying the ground for doesn't make me like it any more.
I love Jeannine...I had an attendant in college that could be her twin...it freaks me out sometimes.

This is my feeling exactly.
Ah well ... this is why there's more than one show on TV.
Man, Hightower was totally badassed there at the end of The Mentalist. And then...they quoted Firefly.
Maybe not a purposeful ref, but amusing.
Tonight over here they showed the return of the Gravedigger on
Bones.
...
What the hell was all that about?
I'm watching old eps of "Prime Suspect", it's so interesting to watch the forensic bits (or lack thereof), because they don't know anything. We're so used to things like "Bones" where they seem to have the cause of death in 5 minutes. It's interesting to hear things like a sketch of the victim will take three weeks.
