I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Hee, the Serenity.

Har, I missed that! Totally obvious, in retrospect.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Is it me, or did the series creators use They Fight Crime to generate the concept of this new series? Minnie Driver to solve some crimes for CBS.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

So.....do all cops wear radiation monitors now?? That took me right out of the show for a few minutes.

(HEEE, Serenity shout-out.)

Compassionately intolerant

That was exactly my experience Una. I enjoyed the episode, for the most part, but was kind of shocked by the radiation meter thing.

Having worked in nuclear disarmament for YEARS and being in some pretty hot spots, I've never even worn a detector.

If they'd seen something clearly marked fissionable material (or, did I miss that), it might have made sense. THEN, it would have been sense for them to be issued badges.

Pasdar did a really, really good job being creeptastic. I've got a theory about his involvement.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, that was a great, very tense episode of Castle, and I agree about the creeptastic. In the best possible way. I was so baffled by the radiation monitor. But now I want one! Would it have gone off when I was drinking uranium laced well water? That would have been helpful!
