Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Then either Derek (or his people) wouldn't become a target, or wouldn't become a target until he was offered, and refused, the same deal, right?

right.

(Which I wouldn't mind. I like Salli, but she seems to have the anti-BBoC effect - I never believe her chemistry with anyone. So killing her character would bring the good angst).

yes, and the shirt that she was wearing when they were having coffee was really distracting, it was way too low cut for a casual coffee date. No need to see your sternum, thanks!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Foyet might target Morgan with a deal if he learns that he's in charge now, but I think that he's not done with Hotch by a long shot. He's not going to forgive him for not taking the deal--he needs to be punished.

I feel absolutely no chemistry between Tamara and Morgan (Salli's not the most chemistry-riffic actress, but I do think she and CFerg sell it sometimes), so that's mostly why I can't read it as anything other than wildly inappropriate. It's not at all a lovely and true attraction that came out of nowhere. She's desperate and gutted and he's got a hero complex and is looking to make a difference, and their needs are clicking right now.

I could totally deal with her being killed off and Garcia (platonically) nursing Morgan through the anguish. I figure Penelope is going to have to help him out of this somehow. If this comes between them for long I will not forgive Bernero lightly.

Speaking of hookups that make no sense, anyone watch CSI: NY? Adam and Stella and the complete lack of impact on the rest of the season? Why the hell bother?

This is my thought.

Yes.

OMG, this to the Nth! It bugged me that she dismissed it so easily, and the fact that no one's done anything with it since? Annoying. Though I suppose this could be part of them setting up Adam for Badness along with Stupid-Named Part-Timer Who's Clearly Horning In On His Territory, but if that's the case, they're handling it badly.

If they have them become a love match...I have to say that's what I figure. Either they sleep together or she kills someone. And him sleeping with Stella only has the potential to play into the former, and lamely.

I'd have been amused to see them as a couple, actually.

I think they'd actually have a bit of potential...Stella's scarred from her experiences with stalker Ed Quinn, and Adam's just a puppy who would never hurt her. I think they could be good together.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I was only enh on this week's cm, but then I caught one on ion that I had never seen when garcia gets shot. Now that was a good one and withe the double buffy alum also. Good times and morganlicious.

Ah, Penelope. The one where she actually gets shot took my breath away even though I knew she gets hurt at some point. Her and Morgan are great together in this one, and JJ at the end makes me misty.

The egg thing this week was just mean.

Numb3rs says they'll do a wrapup sort of thing for their final episode, just in case.

Cost-cutting continues, I guess, with the lack of Colby this week? If he's a regular would he get paid less for not appearing?

As for Monk, who was that guy in the Randy Disher costume, and who was the guy in the Monk costume at the end? They're really going all out to wrap stuff up in a happyish bow for the end, aren't they?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Finally caught up with The Mentalist. The Turkey Vulture thing pinged me so hard. Seriously, I know nothing of buzzards other than how to offhandedly identify them because I see them everywhere and all the time. Being protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act does not an endangered species make. Nor does it's conservation status being listed as Least Concern. Also in that category? Rock Pigeons and Humans.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just caught the episode of CM where Reid protects the actress and gets a little play.
