Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I think Castle is cute so far, ditzy but cute. Echoes of Moonlighting are a bit heavy-handed. I'd like to see them tone it down a bit.

But have to note, on Eureka, Carter is divorced with a teenage daughter. Castle? Ditto. So is this a trend? I'm guessing it's to make the men more appealing to women. He's been married once, so he's not afraid of commitment. And those father-daughter scenes help show off his softer side.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Who knew Stephen J. Cannell had such screen presence?! Anyhoodle Castle is so frothy I think I'll keep watching. And get her haircut.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I enjoyed Castle - and though I liked the daughter, the mother grated on me.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I totally loved Castle! Will definitely tune in next week.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The smugness radiating off Nathan's character was a bit off-putting to me, but the detective yanking him around by his nose and spotting the perp in his lie while Castle was oblivious helped with that.

I wasn't a big fan of her throughout the ep, but this endeared her to me. She's definitely the big "meh" in the cast--some of her other cops were more charismatic than her.

The mom totally reminds me of Ruth Gordon in My Bodyguard.

Art Crawl!!!

I think one of my favorite things was Castle taking off his shoe and picking up the handcuff key with his toes.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I like that the show has a certain amount of whimsy. It's not a flat out comedy, but it's quite light-hearted in many ways. I do wish they had a different lead actress, though. I'm just not sold on her.

Yeah, I really didn't like her. I didn't think that she sold the "hard bitten cop" thing.
