I enjoyed Castle too. . . fun fluff with mysteries!

I totally loved Castle! Will definitely tune in next week.
The smugness radiating off Nathan's character was a bit off-putting to me, but the detective yanking him around by his nose and spotting the perp in his lie while Castle was oblivious helped with that.

I wasn't a big fan of her throughout the ep, but this endeared her to me. She's definitely the big "meh" in the cast--some of her other cops were more charismatic than her.
The mom totally reminds me of Ruth Gordon in My Bodyguard.
I think one of my favorite things was Castle taking off his shoe and picking up the handcuff key with his toes.
I like that the show has a certain amount of whimsy. It's not a flat out comedy, but it's quite light-hearted in many ways. I do wish they had a different lead actress, though. I'm just not sold on her.
Yeah, I really didn't like her. I didn't think that she sold the "hard bitten cop" thing.
::nods::
I thought the fact that she could - and would - bring in her complete collection of his books, with her personal bookplate, in and force them onto the other cops jarred. It just seemed ... girlish? fangirl-ish?
Though I did love the "Don't you read???"
I loved that too.
