I thought the first episode of Flashpoint was not very good. I have the second episode on my DVR, but I can't decide if I want to watch it or not.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
watch the 2nd ep.
the first ep was overwrought. I expected "Hallelujah" to play at the end.
watch the 2nd ep.
Thanks! Will do!
I've been watching hte repeats of Bones on Monday nights and looking for signs of Zach going to the Dark Side. Am I correct in assuming that Gormagon targetted him because he was with the Jeffersonian and had the vault of goodies? Also, Zach didn't join him until halfway through the season, ie, his initiation took place during the mid-season break?

well, we don't know when Zack was recruited, in show time. He was recruited at a conference. I'm looking for signs as well. He hasn't turned yet, because Gormagon still has an apprentice. So, it should be in the upcoming episodes.
Gormagon still has an apprentice
Last Monday's episode says the apprentice was killed and that Gormagon's hunting for a new one. I'm trying to decide if Zach would so eagerly show off the camera in the vault if he'd been turned or not, though if he'd been turned it would show off the master's cleverness. But even Apprentice!Zach wouldn't put Bones in danger.

okay, so who jumped out of the closet? Was that supposed to be Zack? (oh wait, now that I think about it, Zack was supposed to have murdered the lobbyist, so that was him?) It must have been Gormagon himself who rode the motorcycle and tried to blow up Bones and Booth.
I can see Zach conspiring to use the camera as a means of getting the sculpture back to Gormagon, but I don't believe he'd connive at anything that would put Bones and Booth in danger. He went with Gormagon out of pure, if flawed, logic, and when Bones pointed out that he hurt himself because he was protecting Hodgins, Zach acknowledged he was working from a flawed position and told everything.
I'm still very sad watching poor, sweet Zach, but it's fun to play "Is he or isn't he."
I think that Gormagon must have recruited him between the camera discovery and the bomb. I don't think that he would have joined Gormagon if he had tried to hurt Brennan, and I don't think that he would have revealed the camera if he'd been the apprentice.
Also, it was Gormagon who tried to kill the lobbyist the first time, so he must not have recruited Zack by then. I also don't think that Zack would have been so callous about putting a child in danger.
Of course, this all assumes that the guy on the motorcycle was Gormagon and not Zack.

That's what I think, though they were still leaving their options open for suspicion of Hodgins as well, I think.
