I was just flipping past TNT and stopped when I saw Briscoe & Green - my BPE - when I caught this exchange:
Briscoe: How long till you know something?
ME Rogers: It may be awhile, I have to go pull a javelin out of someone.
Briscoe: Why did you go into this line of work?
Rogers: The free javelins.
HA!
I am unreasonably amused that one of the profilers on Criminal Minds went to my rival high school and graduated the same year I did.
I am now unreasonably annoyed at the poor prisoner handling procedure on Criminal Minds. The sheriff's deputies would never have removed him from transport in a public parking lot where the dad could shoot him. He would have been removed from in a secure underground garage. Also, they never would have left him with only one deputy to change clothes, and certainly not a female deputy.
Also, they never would have left him with only one deputy to change clothes, and certainly not a female deputy.
That's what happened with the Brian Nichols courthouse shootings in Atlanta. A female deputy was alone with him and took off his handcuffs so he could change his shirt. He overpowered her; took her gun; and killed a judge, court reporter, deputy and the owner of a car he stole.
That's my point. They don't do that anymore.
L&O: Did we know that McCoy has a daughter????
I love that Tom Everett Scott is cast as their Elliott Spitzer.
L&O: Did we know that McCoy has a daughter????
Yes, they've mentioned her a few times but always that they were estranged. There was one episode where someone leaked an article to the tabloids about how he doesn't speak with his own daughter. I was surprised to see someone ask about her as if he had a good relationship with her.
He stopped drinking, so perhaps their relationship improved?
At least he knows her whereabouts.
CBS has an interactive new fall show grid - you can see clips from the new shows including "11th Hour" - which I thought was more a sci-fi/fantasy thing but looks more like a procedural. (And "The Mentalist" which also seems very much like a procedural.)
And I also meant to say (about L&O) that it's fun to see Melissa Leo.
