L&O: Did we know that McCoy has a daughter????
I love that Tom Everett Scott is cast as their Elliott Spitzer.

This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

Yes, they've mentioned her a few times but always that they were estranged. There was one episode where someone leaked an article to the tabloids about how he doesn't speak with his own daughter. I was surprised to see someone ask about her as if he had a good relationship with her.
He stopped drinking, so perhaps their relationship improved?
At least he knows her whereabouts.
CBS has an interactive new fall show grid - you can see clips from the new shows including "11th Hour" - which I thought was more a sci-fi/fantasy thing but looks more like a procedural. (And "The Mentalist" which also seems very much like a procedural.)
And I also meant to say (about L&O) that it's fun to see Melissa Leo.
24 movie airing in November - that's the prequel to Day 7.

I thought "Yeah, and her name's Jessica or Paula or something and they were thinking of hooking her up with Kirk," then I realized that there are other McCoys in the fictional world than the one in Star Trek.
I'm such a geek.
Am I the only one who finds Linus Roache hottie McHottersons? It's odd, I don't think he looks good (too rabbitty) but I find him very attractive. Go figure. YThe fact that he's a damn good actor (and seems to have relaxed into his USian accent) helps.
No, he's one of the reasons I started watching L&O again. . .also one of the reasons I watched Pandaemonium (He plays Samuel Coleridge in that movie). .
If you check out the 11th Hour promo on the CBS grid (link upthread) you may see a familiar face that isn't Rufus Sewell.
