This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

I thought that she was going to go after him because she was the one who killed the object of her affection in the first place. That would make sense to me that she would try to shoot Booth, but since they found that culprit, I was completely irritated with the ending scene. No real purpose and it sucked.
good point, I agree. I think that they couldn't do that, because then she would be in jail and couldn't shoot Booth. If they were still looking for her, they wouldn't be out at karaoke.
(laughing at the absurdity)
You are absolutely right. Another reason it sucks.
They better have some fallout re: "author/forensics expert kills stalker who shot partner after having been implicated in killing of FBI directory who threatened brother." Her publisher should almost be putting out that story themselves.
I just had to cringe over Bones shouting at Booth and shaking him.
And, aside from the "fat girl stalks hot guy" cliche, didn't she escalate from meeting, stalking, then shooting awfully fast? wouldn't it usually take a little longer for her to reach that point? another episode, at least.
I think so - that's why I think this storyline was damaged by the strike. The show must need Booth and Bones to be at a certain place before next season. . . or something.
Perhaps they needed to set up Booth being out of commission for a while. Or an inquest with Brennan. Dunno. Perhaps all will be revealed next week.
Or DB wanted some time off and having pre-filmed footage of him in a hospital bed was a good way to do it (he's going to work on that chicken phobia?). Or there's going to be a long, extended, arc of Brennan being on trial?
yeah, if he's in a coma, they just have to film a few minutes of him in different positions, and they just have to cut to the other characters talking. Or better yet, in the hallway outside, gazing at him through the window of the ICU. DB's stunt double could do that.
