NCIS was great this week. So much pay off for everything from last season.

Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Also, no Dragnet love?
The 50's version (which was my first procedural) is actually quite good.

I haven't watched it as much past the first two seasons. I miss Kate. I love McGee, but Ziva bothers me. I do give them props, though, for keeping any UST between Tony and Ziva to teasing/borderline harrassment. It tends to suffer from "main character is interested in X! X is doomed!" itis, but it's refreshing to have a sibling-esque vibe between the main characters instead of forcing romance.
I watched the original Dragnet every day after school. Then later Adam-12. Eventually CHiPs. Then I got my own uniform and didn't have to drool over guys on the TV, I could drool over the ones marching next to me.

This year has been interesting between Ziva and Tony. Less sexual subtext and more Ziva encouraging Tony not to lose all of the progress he made in maturity last year when he was in that undercover romance.
Rockford? Does he count?
Sure! How did we leave him out! And Kojak! Tely Savalas and his lollypop. I miss him.
Well, I guess Dennis Becker is on there, so. Then Hill Street, which I still love in an unwholesome way. Magnum(kinda dumb compared to the others but I liked him and Higgins)
You know, if I'm going to trace my first procedural, I'd have to go with Hardy Boys, Matlock, Quincy, and Murder She Wrote. I also loved the Mystery Movie of the Week (McMillan & Wife, etc.)
Marshall Sam McCloud and Columbo.
