Finally watched S01E01 of Community last night with DH. Neither of us had ever seen an episode. Anyway, we decided to stick around for more. Our list of never seen television is quite long, but with life of late we are trying new things!
Comedy 1: A Little Song, a Little Dance, a Little Seltzer Down Your Pants
This thread is for comedy TV, including network and cable shows. [NAFDA]
Yay, I hope you both enjoy it
Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist was renewed for S2
Guillermo!
Awesome, I really enjoyed ZEP. It was not what I was expecting.
-t, IKR!
We spent much of the evening of the Fourth binge-watching Schitt's Creek, and the entire tentative romance between David and Patrick is so wholesome and adorable it's breaking my heart (they also remind me somewhat of my brother and his husband--my brother is the snarky, distancing one whose first instinct is to observe and narrate his emotions at arm's length rather than experience them, and his husband is gentle and doting but also knows exactly how to tease him into letting his guard down). The way they smile at each other is wrecking me.
Oh, yeah, there's the entire rest of the show too. It's just exactly what I needed in every possible way just now, and I'm so very glad that we all gave it a second chance (Hec saw the first two episodes and meh'd them many months ago, and Matilda and I started and then stopped back when I was in full quarantine in April).
I did the same thing, watched a couple of episodes and wast it to it and then later binge-watched and fell in love.
We're big into doing Alexis' little kitty paws down fingers hand gesture right now.
You really have to reassure people that it's worth keeping going.
