I know the guys in Slate were slagging on Season Two. But, as I pointed out multiple times on House Next Door, they're idiots. Can't speak for the tastes of the people you know, but I'll say that I thought Season Two was a thing of beauty and power.
Comedy 1: A Little Song, a Little Dance, a Little Seltzer Down Your Pants
This thread is for comedy TV, including network and cable shows. [NAFDA]
All I have to do to get weepy is think about Frank Sobatka...which makes him a hideous hijack of the comedy thread, which should only have Ziggy and the duck. If you still think that after you see it yourself, that's one thing, but people are always "saying"... Maybe your friends missed the Game, but season 2 had its own messages, pissing contests and hustles.
If Pam is worried about waiting for Jim's proposal, why doesn't she propose?
Yeah, that's totally true. I think we all got sucked back to 1955 when the velvet boxes came out.
If Pam is worried about waiting for Jim's proposal, why doesn't she propose?
Yeah, I kind of hate that, too. But I'm sure she knows he has the ring, and doesn't want to upstage him like that.
It's been a little game they've been playing since he said he would propose and he's been teasing her with the feints and red herrings. This time she thought that he'd orchestrated the moment, as we know he did, so she got that expecting a step and coming down hard on the floor feeling when it didn't happen.
If it becomes a whole thing between them I will be disappointed.
wrod.
Somebody please explain to me how telling someone that you're going to propose to them isn't, in fact, a proposal.
lots of girls want that fairytale ceremonial thing.
And thus, a perfect moment. Right?
