You'd never make it. I'd rip your spine out before you got half a step. Those little legs wouldn't be much good without one of those.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The Good Place: The Donkey Doug casting was perfect.

What is even happening?

I agree, sj.

I haven't checked her Twitter page yet, to see if she's commented on this, but I'm pretty sure Jameela Jamil had to draw on some other-worldly strength not to break during the Donkey Doug/Pillboi " Shark Tank" presentation (and ensuing scenes).

They even end one scene with Michael looking to Tahani for a reaction to the idiocy, but they never show her reaction.

I loved the episode, because it's The Good Place, but I was a little taken aback by the time jump. I'm so used to one episode picking up in the same scene where the last one left off that I thought I missed something.

After dh and I finished "The Ballad of Donkey Doug" the first time, we re-watched "Jeremy Bearimy" again, to see what we'd forgotten, only to realize we hadn't really forgotten anything.

Since he fell asleep, I then watched "The Ballad of Donkey Doug" for a second time, and want to make clear I didn't notice (what I perceived to be) Kameela's superhuman effort not to laugh, until that second viewing.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I follow her on Instagram, and she posted today that it was almost impossible to keep a straight face during those scenes. (Her Instagram is the damn best.)

She's terrific. Her Twitter is a good place, too.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

it was almost impossible to keep a straight face during those scenes

I don't think I could have managed it!

The slow realization that they also needed to rob a bottle factory was PRICELESS.

I could not stop laughing at the fact that Donkey Doug is Jason's dad. Because of course he is.

Also, Michael's delighted reaction to the monster-truck taxi was PERFECT.

Donkey Doug is what, maybe 12 years older than Jason?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I really hope that's not the last we see of Simone, she's pretty great.

Also "Go, be a person" is my favorite advice ever

On the podcast, mention is made of grey getting put in Donkey Doug's hair, and the actor says the casting called for "Filipino, 40s, and handsome" and he says he only had one of those. Ring super young kinda works for the character though...
