Donkey Doug is what, maybe 12 years older than Jason?
On the podcast, mention is made of grey getting put in Donkey Doug's hair, and the actor says the casting called for "Filipino, 40s, and handsome" and he says he only had one of those. Ring super young kinda works for the character though...
It finally occurred to me that I can adjust my DVR to tape The Good Place one minute longer, if that helps anyone else who is annoyed by missing the last few seconds of ever episode.
Jesse, I finally remembered to do the same thing! And luckily one of the shows I tape at 9 doesn't start til 9:01, so I can do it! Thursdays and Sundays are a mess for the DVR.
Well, since I have hella Mom Issues, you can imagine how much of a mess tonight's episode made me. I liked the Tahani and Kamillah stuff, too.
Kamillah's description of food as art made me HOWL with laughter because this week's reading in my Contemporary Issues in Food Studies class is all about food, art, and modernity. Gonna have to find that clip and send it to the class.
I do keep waiting for the other shoe to drop - after the end of S1 I feel like we've been trained to expect a major reset every three or four episodes, and we've been in the real world all year so far!
Crazy Ex fans, my friend Gwynne interviewed Heather on Build - [link]
I'm...not completely satisfied with this ep. Not that there's anything actually wrong or disappointing about it, it just feels, I don't know, rushed or unfinished to have Tehani/Kamila and Eleanor/Mom resolved in the same episode. And I was waiting for payoff from Jason and Janet's exploration of What Art is Worth. I suspect that when the extended version drops I will feel better about that.
Y'all! I just noticed that Selfie is on Hulu! #TeamCharmonique
I'm much less into this season of The Good Place than Marc Even Jackson seems to be, I have to say.
