Finished it. I knew there was a twist, so it was not the same impact it might have been. Will be interested to see this next season. E watched the whole thing too. It will be the first show we are watching at the same time in a long time.
Funnily he is now watching Drop Dead Diva on Netflix also. He is watching so much more tv than he has in the last few years. He really is upset when a show only has 1-2 seasons.
I knew there was a twist, and kind of guessed the bigger aspect of it
that it isn't REALLY the Good Place,
but I honestly didn't expect
Michael to be in on it.
FYI, The Good Place comes back tonight and the S2 opener will be a two-parter. I have been desperately trying not to click on the reviews. Apparently it's just as awesome (or possibly even better?!) than S1, which seems nigh impossible.
Wait, what? I thought it was premiering September 28.
I am SO GLAD you posted that, Vonnie!
Nope, it's tonight per NBC website: [link]
I'm in the middle of a rewatch and am having a lot of "oooh, OF COURSE" moments.
The only downer is that it's on at 10 pm Eastern Time (9 Central), which is super late. Not sure why it was pushed back. This seems like a perfect 8:30 pm show to me.
I googled, and the article I found said it's on at 10 only for tonight, because America's Got Talent is leading into it, so that's supposed to be a great time slot. But then starting next week, it moves back to Thursdays at 8:30: [link]
Oh, that's great and reassuring. I'm hoping its recent availability on Netflix and the lead-in tonight will lead to increased viewership. If I recall, it wasn't doing great ratings-wise last year, even though the fans were fervent.
