Yes, he was. Did he give him his phone back? Heh.

Oh, right!
I know!! Ack, ack, that was just too painful to watch -- everyone's reactions to his hand on her knee, and then his sudden outburst, and *jumping the fence* and running away, oh god!
I actually had to close my eyes for that bit. BRILLIANT.

Relatedly, I watched the HIMYM pilot last night. I'm excited to catch up on this show, although I'm sad about being spoiled for the latest squee. But I was spoiled for "Casino Night" too. It's hard to avoid MAJOR SQUEE.
I hope Toby isn't really going to Costa Rica. I hope it was just one of those things you say when you really mean, "Oh, God, I just screwed up bigger-than-big time and wish the ground would just open up and swallow me whole because otherwise I'll have to deal with the fallout on Monday and I'm embarrassed out of my skull already."
I'm not sure Jim is becoming Michael. Though Michael himself gave a hint of that a few episodes ago (before the writer's strike) when he told Jim that he'd once thought of DM as a place to stay for a couple of years, then move on (after Jim has said the same thing a number of times). While Jim didn't fight Ryan on the idea of transferring the data, he at least came up with a method that minimized inconvenience for the rest of the office. And when they found the gate locked, Jim tried to solve a problem instead of assign blame to everyone except himself. (On the other hand, I'll only really believe the argument I just made if Hank arrives on Monday morning to find, say, a gift certificate to one of the nicest restaurants in Scranton, in an amount sufficient to cover dinner for two.)
On "How I Met Your Mother" was the end part supposed to imply that Ted and Robin were living together a year later?
Something like that.
My thoughts were that they were teasing us that Ted and Robin are living together living together, but that really Lily and Marshall moved out and Robin moved in as a roommate.
lunda - that sounds like what it will turn out to be. What was the estimate for how long it would take for Marshall & Lily's apartment to be done?
