Just watched the last episode of the UK Office season 1.
Gareth crying in David's office made me hurt myself with the laughing.
And the final scene between Tim and Dawn in the bar, at the end, was easily as heartbreaking as the little Jim and Pam stuff I've seen in the US version.
We now have the US first season in from Netflix, and hope to watch that some time within the next few days. I can't wait.
ugg. Lunch. Friend took me out for my "b-day lunch". She's so sweet. We go to a fancy fish place (I'm allergic to fish). I get a turkey sandwich. They didn't list on the menu that it has mayo. I hate mayo. Now I remember why. ugg. It was a nice visit and conversation tho (must focus on that).
wow. sorry. killed all conversation. Damn. hate it when I do that.
omnis, IME conversation dies at this time every Friday without anyone being guilty of killing it.

whew, cuz I wasn't sure how to perform mouth-to-mouth on a message board.
Did your friend know you're allergic to fish, omnis? Why didn't you say "No, let's go somewhere else?" (I hate being that clueless person, who, after you're already sitting down, someone mentions "oh, well, I'm not eating the brazilian barbecue because I'm actually a vegtarian..." and I'm like "Dude, we could've gone somewhere else!")
I pretty much live with my nose stuck in a book, I have to write directions down to remember them, I forget to pass spoken messages on unless I immediately write them down, etc. I'm weaker on non-verbal visualization--I don't get vivid mental pictures
Me, me! I'm so bad at hearing things and remembering them. Unless it's a song! I remember song lyrics. But for the life of me I couldn't describe or clearly visualize my best friend in my head...
That's so interesting... when you dream, do you remember the images or just the story? I am fascinated by this kind of stuff.
Hmm. Dreams, I remember a mix of images and story (depending, obviously, on how well I remember the dream). And sometimes kinesthetic--I had a very very vivid dream one time that I was still in bed with my eyes shut, but that someone was lying down next to me. I felt the bed move. Freaked me right the fuck out. But it was just a dream.
If I read something, I remember the words. If there are pictures...maybe. If I hear it? No way.

This is me. I can only even remember song lyrics if I've heard the song a kajillion times and/or I've actually read the lyrics while listening.

Ack. That would be terrifying.
