Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Did your friend know you're allergic to fish, omnis? Why didn't you say "No, let's go somewhere else?" (I hate being that clueless person, who, after you're already sitting down, someone mentions "oh, well, I'm not eating the brazilian barbecue because I'm actually a vegtarian..." and I'm like "Dude, we could've gone somewhere else!")

I pretty much live with my nose stuck in a book, I have to write directions down to remember them, I forget to pass spoken messages on unless I immediately write them down, etc. I'm weaker on non-verbal visualization--I don't get vivid mental pictures

Me, me! I'm so bad at hearing things and remembering them. Unless it's a song! I remember song lyrics. But for the life of me I couldn't describe or clearly visualize my best friend in my head...

That's so interesting... when you dream, do you remember the images or just the story? I am fascinated by this kind of stuff.

Hmm. Dreams, I remember a mix of images and story (depending, obviously, on how well I remember the dream). And sometimes kinesthetic--I had a very very vivid dream one time that I was still in bed with my eyes shut, but that someone was lying down next to me. I felt the bed move. Freaked me right the fuck out. But it was just a dream.

If I read something, I remember the words. If there are pictures...maybe. If I hear it? No way.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

This is me. I can only even remember song lyrics if I've heard the song a kajillion times and/or I've actually read the lyrics while listening.

Ack. That would be terrifying.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Huh.

It only takes me three times through a set of lyrics before I remember it, well nigh unto the future. And seeing as the majority of popular music goes through the chorus three times in a song, it pretty much means I've got the song memorized before it's over.

The SO jokes that I know all the lyrics to every single song there is.

I never thought about it as it relates to learning style, though.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We don't hate you. We thought you abandoned us.

No, my temp job blocks Le B.org.

Where's our damn pizza!?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Well this is a happy moment for me. I came in to work and found all of the sites I use regularly for work related stuff are now blocked. I only checked b.org on a whim 'cause I'm on break and bored. Here I am! Yay for nonsensical web filters!

That is hilarious, Laga.
