Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Happy Birthday Aimee!

Belated to Katerina Bee and the other people I already forgot.

Go, vw and your mad quilt-making skillz.

So the Germans had extra dildo molds and they didn't know what to do with them? Maybe they haven't been cornholing enough in their free time.

I am so ready to go in search of booze now, but my 5 pm appointment is running "a little late". Aha, I hear the door!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So, we are strongly considering this sofa (providing we can get it on even MORE sale than it is now) [link] for our new living room. We both love mission stuff, but don't want to be too tied to period, so there will be other pieces in the room which are not mission-y. Mostly we want it to be pet-friendly (thus the zip-off cushion covers), cozy, and last a LONG time. Is it too twee?

Any comments?

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Robin! I love it!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I like it, Robin!

Too twee? Nah. But I tend ot like the Mission stuff. It does remind me of a lot of futons, though.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I love the look of it, but because I lay down on my couch, my only thought is I wonder how comfy that would be with wooden arms.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Robin, we have a very similar futon in our tv room. I like the sofa!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Any comments?
You do not want this sofa. You want *me* to have this sofa. Unless there is more than one. And then you definitely want one. Man, I love Mission.

My sister's cell has a ringback tone for me. Boyz in the Hood. Hy.ster.i.cal.

Obviously, she has discovered the secret for getting me to call more often - hilarious shoutouts to days when we were old enough to know better, and just didn't give a damn. And had driver's licenses. And a map to Vegas. And our parents out of town. And Easy E on cassette.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Meep. Just finished writing a lease for Joe and I to sign! The end (of living with my parents) is nigh!

Holy Hand Grenade Batman! That's an awesome b-day gift!!!

Vortex, you should be fine with public transport and taxis. Chicago is a very walkable town.

I've only had black eyes when I got my nose broken for my nose job.

But all the other cities in America give you black eyes all the time, so come to Chicago, and walk safely down our streets.

(was I the only one who read this as one sentence at first pass?)

Kristin, I haven't seen Simpsons yet either. Or the new HP movie. Wanna do some flicks this weekend?
