A year and a half ago, I could have eviscerated him with my thoughts. Now I can barely hurt his feelings. Things used to be so much simpler.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, burns scare the fuck out of me.

not your mom's socks.

I don't get to rate the migraines either, but I've never had one that put me in the hospital. {ita} they just make me blind and pukey.

yesterday was fetishes, today is pain - what does that make tomorrow?

it was a) for a purpose and b) would have a definite end.

this. though that didn't stop me from telling the OB 'we don't have to do this right now...' t /chicken

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Kinda like getting a red-hot toothpick dragged through your skin's top layers?

More like a red-hot scalpel. But, yeah.

Compassionately intolerant

My tattoo didn't hurt at all, though I was fully prepared for the big ow.

I've had third degree burns that really hurt...

But the very tiptopworst pain ever in my entire life was being struck by a stingray. Nerve toxin. Rollercoaster of going from eleventy-thousand, down to 943, lulling you into a false sense of I-might-survive. I didn't even take aspirin at that point in my life and I was screaming for narcotics. Sort of wish I'd just passed out. Nifty scar and a story full of fun details...totally. not. worth. it.

My at-the-time boyfriend's mother still won't go into the ocean without sneakers, some 16 years later.

connie! owowowowowowowow.

Oh, yeah. the new apartment's bedroom was wallpapered in shelving paper, and there was a mold I wasn't yet aware of being allergic to growing there. That was a hell of a weekend.

Always Anti-fascist!

Muscle spasms hurt a lot, mostly because when the tightened muscles move around, it kind of starts over... the other pain I have a lot of experience with is abdominal, which doesn't feel the same at all, but can hurt a lot.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Appendcitis was pretty bad, but I know that was near a 10 because it didn't burst. That's MUCH worse from everything I've heard.

Some of my recurring chronic leg/foot pains are bad. Basically arthiritis in it's early stages (and a lifetime of flat feet). They mainly cause problems (aside from with walking) at night, because they keep me awake, and feel like they hurt worse.

I have had some headaches (some hangovers, some not) that made me feel that ripping my eyeballs would be prefarable to the pain I was feeling.

Those are necessarily different topics depending on the fetish.

I thought cat scratch. I like how we all compared it to something.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The most pain I've experienced was when a doctor swabbed my sinuses with liquid cocaine prior to running tubes up my nose. Right after that they put me under for surgery. I wondered why they couldn't have done the swabbing after they put me under.
