Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Morning, Jars!

That's how I was leaning, but I wanted to make sure that was best.

Also, it's been so fun seeing you around more!

Well that's what happens when people put me in a room with internet access and no supervision. Yay!

Also, we just got proper internet access at home yesterday, so now all I need to do is get my laptop fixed and I'm laughing.

How's school?

Good morning, vw! Good morning Jars!

Yay! Well, we definitely enjoy seeing your pixels!

How's school?

School is good. Wicked busy, but so good this semester. I'm actually doing things that I really care about, which is nice.

Morning, Anne!

That is always nice.

Morning Anne!

I am gathering documents for a departmental audit. Tuesday was a ten-hour day, yesterday was eleven. Yes, I know there are people here who regularly work longer hours, but long hours slogging through documentation while people are still bugging you for help with various and sundry projects (when did I become the external brain for fifteen people? when?) is a bit brain-pureeing.

There is not enough gronk in the world. But at least there is coffee.

Anne, that sounds ick.

And yes, thank god for coffee!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I woke up an hour and a half before I needed to and four hours after I went to bed. Gronk. Making coffee.

That sounds exhausting and mind-numbing, Anne.

I think I'd hit someone if they asked me to do more than eight hours a day.

In other news, I've just found out I get twenty eight holiday days with this company! Woo! Well, sort of. I get twenty holiday days plus my eight bank holidays.
