You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I need more caffeine. My brain just read this top-of-page-quote:

Anybody can be a prop class clown.

Xander, 'The Prom'

as "Anybody want some porn shop porn?"

I can't believe he just wanted to send you in to the ER.

Seriously. Been there, done that.

I called my health plan about changing doc's - which I can do - but it wouldn't be effective until October 1st, at the earliest. And I don't know either of the other docs who are in my area - but anyone has to be better than this joker. Snarl.

The one "good" thing - I am feeling better today. Still getting the episodes, but not as frequently and not as intense. Whatever.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Ugh on having to wait to change docs.

Annabel definitely has the right priorities.

That's what I think! Let us eat cake!

not your mom's socks.

SuziQ - I would tell your health plan that you want another doctor sooner than October because you are concerned for the health of their bottom line. That do not think it is very cost effective (for you or them) to have a doctor who sends you to the ER instead of referring you, and you are doing this in order to help them make their bonus this year. If I were a healthins. bean counter, that would have the steam coming forth from my ears. Unless I am operating under utopian fantasies and now they actually WANT us to go to the ER instead?

HAH - I haz ENT and neuro referrals now. Fear me!!!

I agree Sox - I'm doing a bit of research instead of just grabbing a name out of the health plan directory. Once I know who I want, I'm going be one pushy bitch.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Laga, gee, I wonder what's on your mind. IJS!

Suzi. Be that pushy bitch! It's your health. Your paying into the system. Get what you need out of it, do NOT let them boss you around. Grrr. (sorry, lots of pent up animosity to HMO's and such).

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I went to the gym. Not good. I can't use any of their aerobic machines for various reasons. The weight machines were ok, but I can't really use them for very long. I didn't sign up for anything because I don't know what to do yet.

Suzi, definitely be a pushy bitch. Suggesting going back to the ER after they found nothing is just crazy. You need a specialist.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Did you talk to a trainer, sj? Sometimes they can have suggestions for you. Is there a YMCA near you? I'm obviously a big fan of swimming for exercise now.

This gym doesn't let you talk to a trainer until you sign a contract. TCG and I were just talking about the YMCA. I think I am going to look into that next. In the meantime, I am comforting myself with a pumpkin latte.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I belonged to the Y here and liked it much better than a gym. It wasn't as fancy as a lot of gyms, but it had lots of classes, it was non-competitive and no pressure-y salespeople to deal with!
