Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I was, however, thrilled to see pumpkin butter at Trader Joes over the weekend.

Oh, yum. Love that stuff. ::books trip to TJ's::

Yay for potential lives of leisure and the work what brings 'em. (Heh. I typoed loves of leisure first...)

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

That was the best xpost ever.

I just got back from Costso - why is so tiring to shop there - and why do I suddenly have too many crossants

on my tv: the original Batman 1966 Batman movie. Batman is beating a giant plastic shark that is attached to his leg , while the boy wonder looks for shark repellent in his utility belt.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Jilli!! Shoes! I don't know if you can/would wear them, but I think you need to own them, at least.

I keep being tempted by them. I haven't shown them to Pete yet, even though I know he'll make a really funny face at them.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Batman is beating a giant plastic shark that is attached to his leg , while the boy wonder looks for shark repellent in his utility belt.

Yes, a classic scene in American cinema.

Really, when people talk about that movie, that's the one thing that always gets mentioned.

AB: (after a moment's thoughtful pondering) More cake!

I just read this to my co-workers, who all agreed that Annabel definitely has the right priorities.

Snarl.

Called my doc to say the meds aren't working. He left me a message and he wants me to go back to ER cause he doesn't have any appointments and he thinks I should see a different doc. Ummm, isn't that what referrals are for? We have already ruled out anything life threatening, so spending $75 on an ER visit is right out.

Now I have to wait for his office to reopen after 2pm so I can call and demand a referral.

So frustrating.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Ugg Suzi, how frustrating! When will we get a better health care system?!? Much ~ma to you, and hope it goes well this afternoon.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

ugh SuziQ. That's so unfair. I keep going back to a doctor I dislike because it seems like putting up with her rudeness is easier than finding a new doctor.

The status is NOT quo.

At the very least you'll be able to feed Joe.
Very good point.

Suzi, I'm so sorry you're feeling lousy. I hope your doctor gives you the referral you deserve. I can't believe he just wanted to send you in to the ER.
