There are no absolutes. No right and wrong. Haven't you learned anything working for the Powers? There are only choices.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

Crap I really put my foot in it with Big Boss. We were talking cross purposes again, she convinced me of her side (because she's the Big Boss) and so I said I'd play this dvd during our meeting/celebration thing. Except she kept rehashing why I should and so I tried to tell her I understood and I'd do it except it came out wrong.

I think, maybe, that when you are talking to her and making multiple points, and then there's a deisicion made she has to go back trhough the multiple points. I think. I don't know.

I did call the temp agency though and told them I was looking for permenant position and they told me to email them an updated resume, so I'll have to get that together this weekend.

(((Empress)) who totally rocks.

Okay, since I now live a 5 minute drive from the office and get an hour for lunch, is it okay to go home and take a 20 minute power nap? I'm thinking yes.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That's one of the beauties of living close to work.

move out and draw fire

I love the Kojo show...and not just because of his voice.

However, has anyone in the DC market heard the radio ad for McLean Bible Church? It's along the lines of "Christ said that the only way to heaven was through him. You're not going to get there by just doing good. So who are you going to choose? Christ, or one of those dead "saviors?"

I just got this note from a friend, about his two daughters, 14 and 12 respectively:

When Jenny gets sick, I can pop in her room, and she's usually in there reading something like Harry Potter. Stephie stayed home from school today, so I popped in to say goodbye. She was reading "Surviving Hitler."

Mostly lurking...

McLean Bible Church

This makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. Around here, McLean is known as the big psychiatric hospital. I find it very funny that there is a church named that. It's where all the crazy people go!

While we're grilling you, your login wouldn't by any chance have to do with TMBG, would it?

billytea if you pass the Rabid Child say "Hammer Down" for me...

Sorry-ness to all with craptastic days. It's raining here, but I'm off on Fridays so I really can't complain. I was supposed to go to Greensboro (NC) to see a best friend's new baby, but they took a last minute beach invite. Hopefully this means my night will involve drinks and this girl I know...

We have XM. For a number of reasons, not least the poor quality programming of DC radio.

poor quality programming of DC radio.

In my house, we refer to this as "lowest common denominator radio."

Why is today feel so long? I didn't get into work until 10:30, and we had an ice cream break at 1:30, so it seems like the day should fly by but instead the clock is stuck.
