Don't worry, I'm not gonna start any sword fights. I'm over that phase.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Also? Someone send rations. I've been on the phone with our CPA for 52 minutes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My father used to watch crap action with me (A Team, etc) and my mother crap soaps (Dynasty, etc). When I say I don't have many wistful memories of childhood it's not to say it was all hard knocks--just that I was obsessed with being all fierce and hardcore, and there just wasn't much room left over.

But the crap TV is pretty close to wistful nostalgia.

Jeez, Juliana. She could have just said “I’ve gained 7 lbs, so your job is to not let me have any. And hide it when you’re not here”

Oh Airwolf. I loved Airwolf, I thought it was so much better than Knight Rider. Just an unholy love for that show.

Yes. MFNLaw and I stayed up until 2AM at her place watching Airwolf, drinking wine, and commenting how much less hot Jan-Michel Vincent was than we thought when we were 12, but still loving the show. Afterwards, she changed my ringtone to Airwolf.

Aw, Aims, you're so sugar-sugar!

honey, honey

(figures that everyone should be earwormed if I am)

Kristin, my Spanish is very, very rusty, but possibly: Nuevo gatito. Por favor, no abre la puerta o limpia ese cuarto.

Or maybe just a large NO ENTRAR.

I've had a stressful week and a stressful day and I snapped at people who didn't deserve it at all.

I swear nothing is going right with going away stuff for my supervisor, which is probably a sign she shouldn't be going away. first it was the misspelled engravings.

Then it was the cake. We splurged and got a Cold Stone Creamery cake because that's what she likes and she's worth it. We were going to have her party today at 3:00. My co worker goes to pick up the cake and it's not ready. They had a/c problems earlier in the day and it melted, and then they tried to remake it but couldn't decorate it because of some reason.

They have my number, do they call? No. They wait until the cake is being picked up. So I call and scramble and we're going to have the party tomorrow at 11:00 (because she's leaving around noon or 1) but Cold STone doesn't open until noon which means I have to get the cake tonight, bring it back here becasue there's a large freezer here.

I told the shift manager I expected a refund. I got the manager's info and called her and told her the same. She told me that since I agreed to get teh cake tonight and they were remaking the cake she could only give me 50% refund. It's not like I don't have a cake.

That, I told her, was not acceptable. I paid for a cake to be ready at 1:00 pm. I was told at 1 pm there was no cake. I expect a quality cake and quality service. My office has already ordered 6 cakes in the last 6 months. When we do cake we do Cold Stone cake. I told her it's not a huge business but I might have to rethink where I order my cake and also might have to recommend other people not get cakes from there since they are unrealiable. Finally she got authorization so I can get my full refund.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Ok - bald it is.

Stop that. I think something short-ish that would work well with styling goo is good. I also think you should get streaks of dark color in the layers around your face.

Vortex - you're right about Jan Mchael Vincent, he's so much less hot. It's weird when I saw the SGA/Airwolf vid and I kept thinking "But he was so much hotter than anyone else!"

Maybe being a secret helicopter pilot who saved people made him seem hotter than he was.
