I once again overbooked my weekend and am only now getting any me time. Not that my weekend wasn't fun, but I totally need another day to just veg.

I made pasta, breakfast casserole and strawberry cake (as I was tasting it I actually thought, "Whoa, this would be waaaaay to sweet for ita).

Ugh, not up early, haven't slept yet. At 11 or so I decided to make a little update on a customer's system. Um, it's 4:30am my time and still hoping I can dig my way out of the mess before I have to call DH and see if he can start his Monday morning doing the rescue thing. Eeep, guess I'll take yet another look.

I think I may have fixed it. Maybe.

Also, having seen the one here at the Pantages twice, and having listened to the OBC recording? I think Eden Mendoza (current Elphaba in LA) is better than Idina Mendel (OBC Elphie).

Her: Emma is staying in England for the next year, a long story (apparantly) but it involves her being in a car crash in Dahab and having broken bones (shouldre, ear and ribs).

Me: Gosh! Poor cow! Is she in the UK at present, or in Egypt?(...incidentally - at the risk of being a terrible nag, you really should join Facebook. Emma's profile picture has the two of you in it. It's very sweet.)

Me (a moment later, noticing that her former TA has popped up on facebook): Oooh! And Noran has just added me as her friend on facebook too! Noran! Bless her!

Her: I have just yesterday, joined facebook and am now working out what to do with it. Emma is in in the UK for the coming year

Terse much? I don't know, maybe I was being stupid. It seemed to me that her initial statement wasn't exactly crystal clear, grammatically (particularly given that, last I was aware, Emma was in Egypt, where she lives), thus my question. I grasped she was going to be in the UK for the coming year, rather than in Egypt, what with, you know, reading her email.

Right now I'm pretty much "What. The fuck. Ever."
