We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

The problem is that Donohoe keeps on getting legitimized by being a common Catholic pundit/representative when it comes to Catholic issues being discussed (on Fox Noise, in particular). He's responsible for getting one of my favorite bloggers (Melissa McEwan, aka Shakespeare's Sister) booted off of Edwards' campaign staff, so I already hate him.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

No, Bill Donahue is your standard issue ranting wingnut of the "Jesus hates everyone but me and people exactly like me" variety.

And yet, he somehow is given a lot of credibility by mainsteam news orgs and certain political parties I could name. So really, he's a rather more dangerous ranting wingnut than the usual.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Bob and I were just talking about this last night. He's like Fred Phelps in that he makes the news not because he's newsworthy, or represents something, but because he's salacious. He creates a story, like this one. And what possible reason would he have to stop? Should any one of you want to become famous, create a nonprofit and start getting offended.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Should any one of you want to become famous, create a nonprofit and start getting offended.

I'm gonna start a nonprofit organization called "Stupid People Suck Foundation" Then I'll issue press releases whenever someone does something excessively stupid.

Yeah, I'd probably require a large staff to keep track of all the stupidity....
